The IDF was in suspense on Sunday ahead of the planned publication of the
internal military probe into the operation that stopped the Turkish flotilla to
the Gaza Strip in late May and ended with nine dead passengers.
The
report was supposed to be submitted to IDF Chief of General Staff Lt.-Gen. Gabi
Ashkenazi on Sunday evening by head of the investigative panel Maj.-Gen. (res.)
Giora Eiland.

On Monday morning, Eiland was scheduled to present the
findings to the members of the General Staff to whom the report pertains,
including commander of the Navy V.-Adm. Eliezer Marom, head of IDF
Operations Maj.-Gen. Tal Russo and OC Military Intelligence Maj.-Gen. Amos
Yadlin.
On Monday afternoon the IDF is expected to release the findings
to the public.
The report is not expected to contain personal
recommendations against any of the officers involved in Operation Sea Breeze 7 -
the boarding of the Mavi Marmara Turkish passenger ship on May 31 by Navy
commandos from Flotilla 13.
The United Nations Security Council and UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon Monday sharply condemned the triple terrorist attacks in the Ugandan capital of Kampala that killed at least 74 people.
Ban called the bombings vicious in a statement issued by his spokesman.
The Secretary-General hopes that the perpetrators of these acts will be brought to justice and prosecuted, the spokesman said.
Nigerian UN ambassador Joy Ogwu, current president of the security council, called for justice against the terrorists, the organisers and those who financed the attacks.
Hundreds were wounded in the attack that came as hordes of Ugandans watched the final football match of the World Cup at communal gatherings in the East African country.
The Somalia-based al-Shaabab militia claimed credit for the bombings. A spokesman for the group warned the central African country of Burundi that it would be next unless it withdraws its soldiers from peacekeeping forces in Somalia.
California - A wounded 3-year-old boy was found hiding outside his familys Southern California home, and his 5-year-old brother was found unhurt inside, 12 hours after their parents died in an apparent murder-suicide, police said on Monday.
The shootings happened late on Sunday but werent discovered until mid-morning on Monday, when a co-worker stopped by to see why the father hadnt reported to work, Anaheim police spokesperson Tim Schmidt said.
The co-worker instructed the 5-year-old to call police.
He said his dad killed his mom and shot himself and he cant find his brother, Schmidt said.
When police arrived, they found the parents bodies splayed out on lawn chairs in the backyard. From there, they followed a trail of blood leading to the wounded 3-year-old, who was hiding behind trash cans on the side of the house, Schmidt said.
Toddler shot
This is a horrific scene, he said.
The 3-year-old boy had been shot three times in the shoulder, stomach and chest. He was taken to UC Irvine Medical Centre, where he underwent surgery and was in critical condition, Schmidt said.
Hospital spokesperson John Murray cited confidentiality laws in declining to provide further details on the boy.
Police responded to reports that gunshots were heard in the area on Sunday night, but they could not find the origin.
The 5-year-old boy, who wasnt injured, has been placed in protective custody, Schmidt said.
Money problems
During a traumatic and emotionally draining interview, the 5-year-old told investigators his father tried to shoot him and he ran inside the house to hide, Schmidt said.
He said he could hear his brother screaming and hollering, Schmidt said.
Family friend Filomeno Adarna told KABC-TV the couple was having financial problems.
Adarna said the couple applied for a loan modification eight months ago and it was denied.
They lost a little bit of money (and) were having some personal financial problems, Adarna said.

A majority of the Liberal rebels who voted last fall to scrap the federal long-gun gun registry are ready to switch sides rather than risk the wrath of their leader and face punishment if they continue to support a Conservative bill.
Five of the eight dissidents say they back Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieffs new proposals, which he says would make the registry easier, cheaper and more palatable for its opponents.
I will be supporting the compromise that Michael Ignatieff came up with, said Wayne Easter, a Prince Edward Islander and former Liberal solicitor general.
I would hope that the government sees the value in terms of that compromise so we dont fight this issue for the next 40 years, that we find the middle ground, all put a little water in our wine and have a win-win situation.
Easters sentiment was echoed by Newfoundland MPs Scott Andrew and Todd Russell. Yukon MP Larry Bagnell, through his spokesman Denis Sabourin, said that Ignatieffs proposals are excellent and Keith Martin, of Vancouver Island, said he only sided with the Conservatives in a preliminary vote last fall so that the contentious issue could be aired in an all party-committee.
Im going to support the gun registry because the police say they need it for their protection, said Martin, who would not comment on what he thinks of Ignatieff whipping the vote.
A sixth Liberal, Anthony Rota, told his local northern Ontario newspaper that his support for the party position hinges on being able to negotiate another concession with Ignatieff.
Two anti-registry Liberals — Newfoundlander Scott Andrews and New Brunswicker Jean-Claude DAmours –have refused comment, suggesting that Ignatieff could have a problem on his hands when a bill to eliminate the registry returns to the Commons this year for a final vote.
Ignatieff outlined his measures earlier this week, saying that the Liberals, if they were in power, would remove re-registration fees and making it a ticketing offence, rather than a criminal one, to fail to register for the first time.
The Conservatives responded by launching radio advertisements in the ridings of the eight Liberal MPs, calling on them to stick to their guns and side with their constituents.
